[[ I just want to say right now I’m going through a bit of a hard time, so I’m sorry I’m being a bit inactive. I should be getting to questions soon. WHY IS THERE SO MANY PEOPLE ARGUING OVER DRINKING VERSUS COSPLAY?
OKAY. YOU GUYS WANNA KNOW WHAT I THINK? WELL TOO BAD, ‘CAUSE I’LL SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR PRETTY LITTLE THROATS.
Cosplay is a hobby, much like say…dancing or scrapbooking. It doesn’t look normal, but abnormality only means that it’s not common, which we know. We enjoy to sew and style hair(wigs), which are two normal things indeed, but we’re looked down upon it as being freaks. I personally want to go into fashion, perhaps. This hobby is putting me on step closer to that.
Drinking on the other hand, as someone who has drank quite a bit in my time, can be used irresponsibly, obviously. Though, that doesn’t mean everyone who drinks uses it irresponsibly. Take me for example, I’ve done some stupid shit under the influence, but nothing that has hurt or made a fool out of anyone, including myself. I can walk without stumbling over and I can talk with ease. It’s all about knowing your limits and making sure you’re in a safe environment.
Comparing these two is illogical. You’re comparing a hobby to that of a recreational mind-altering substance. Sometimes these do indeed go in hand, but this argument over which is more immature needs to stop, because there will be people who use both environments wrong, and it’s sickening to see people try to claim otherwise.
Long story short, these are two entirely separate things, stop comparing them, dumbasses.
